Teaching my 187th Beginner Workshop leaves me speechless: I was standing in front of all new faces; twenty-one miniature painters I did not know yet, from far and close. First timers that wanted to learn with me and being introduced in my way of thinking, learning the 'whys' and how to make decisions on their path as mini painters. Thank you all! This has been a lovely weekend with you all! I hope you recover well, start seeing all the little wonders in the world that will teach you painting and discover the joy of happy painting on your workbench at home too!

Arigato for your support in my art and my lessons. As a human I feel humbled and as a teacher priviliged. I am proud of your results and I am looking forward to see you again.

Nach meinem 187. Anfängerworkshop bin ich sprachlos: Ich stand vor lauter neuen Gesichtern – 21 MiniaturmalerInnen und -malern, die ich noch nicht kannte, aus nah und fern. Anfänger, die von mir lernen und meine Denkweise kennenlernen wollten, die Hintergründe verstehen und lernen wollten, wie sie auf ihrem Weg als Miniaturmaler gute Entscheidungen treffen können. Vielen Dank euch allen! Es war ein wunderschönes Wochenende mit euch! Ich wünsche euch gute Besserung, dass ihr all die kleinen Wunder der Welt entdeckt, die euch das Malen beibringen, und dass ihr die Freude am Malen auch an eurer eigenen Werkbank zu Hause findet! 

Vielen Dank für eure Unterstützung meiner Kunst und meiner Kurse. Ich bin als Mensch zutiefst berührt und fühle mich als Lehrer privilegiert. Ich bin stolz auf eure Ergebnisse und freue mich darauf, euch wiederzusehen.
