There are just a hand full of people in one's life that have the ability to inspire us with a small comment, a certain look or just a quick gesture. Roman Lappat is one of these people. He once gave me a hard long look, after examining my first very serious competition pieces, and simply said: "Just wait...". I was so insecure, so feeling lost, but at the end of the day I won some prize with it. Roman just gave me a stare and a smile, as if to say: "Told you so!" At that moment I gained all the confidence that I needed from that moment onwards to where I am now.
